ARTISTIC TEAM

The Charlie Miller Art Team was formed in the 80s and is led by the dynamic partnership of International Creative & Artistic Directors, Jason and India Miller who have forged a reputation for introducing new concepts and trends, such as The Stitch and The Crochet.

 

Regarded by many as being part of the couture of British hairdressing and two of the UK's most influential hair designers, Jason & India have successfully directed the team across the globe and have a history of consistently producing some of the UK's best innovative and creative photographic works that are regularly featured in the world's top fashion and hair magazines. In demand on the show and seminar circuit the CM Art Team's wealth of expertise has also delighted audiences from Europe to America, South Africa to Korea and the Middle East where they have delivered educational and inspirational choreographed hair shows and motivational seminars and workshops for companies such as L'Oréal Professionnel.

 

The artistic diary over the past 2 years was kick-started in January 2010 with a stunning hair show 'From Canada to Mumbai' presented to an audience of 1200 hairdressers at the L'Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy Grand Final in Montreal, Canada which then travelled to Sydney, Berlin, Johannesburg and finally to Mumbai in India in October 2011. 2010 culminated in Paris at the MCB World Hair Championships with a new and exciting show presented to an audience of 4500 professionals from around the world.

 

Over the years their influential work has also been shown at many of the industry's other key shows and events in London including the L'Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy Grand Final; the British Greats; Fellowship for British Hairdressing President's Night; the HAAB Ball; Talentspotting; Vidal Sassoon's 80th Birthday Celebration Gala Dinner; at Salon International, Spring Salon and The Alternative Hair Show.

 

Session work has included an underwater fashion shoot with Financial Times 'How to Spend It' Magazine and photo shoots with top fashion photographer Clive Arrowsmith as well as commissioned work with L'Oreal for top glossy magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire and She. Head-hunted 8 times by the organisers of the MTV Europe Music Awards Jason & India and members of the team have worked their magic at this major event by 'heading the looks' in Belfast '11, Berlin '09, Liverpool '08, Munich '07, Copenhagen '06, Lisbon '05, Rome '04, Edinburgh '03.
