CHARLIE MILLER SPONSORS 'MODEL OF THE YEAR' AWARD
The Charlie Miller company was delighted to link up as Official Hair Partner and Sponsor of the Model of the Year category at the inaugural Scottish Fashion Awards held at a glittering Awards ceremony and Gala dinner at Stirling Castle on May 7th 2006.
Attended by a host of celebrities, international fashion figures and dignitaries, The Scottish Fashion Awards Model of the Year award was presented by Jason & India Miller to international supermodel Kirsty Hume who had modelled for India in 1991 before being plucked from obscurity to become one of the world's biggest catwalk stars.
To celebrate the success of the Scottish Fashion Awards winning designers, Kirsty agreed to an exclusive photoshoot for which Jason & India were asked to do the hair resulting in a series of sensational portraits showcasing designs from Jonathan Saunders (winner of the Scottish Fashion Awards Designer of the Year), Christopher Kane (winner of the Scottish Fashion Awards Young Designer of the Year) and Jennifer Lang (winner of the Scottish Fashion Awards Textiles Designer of the Year).
"This high profile, quality event undoubtedly helps recognise the Scottish players who are having a global impact in the world of fashion and will hopefully encourage Scotland's new talent to hold on to their dreams" said Charlie Miller.
