1100 hairdressing professionals were treated to a colourful and exciting 20 minute hair show with themes of pastel colour wigs, wefts and weaves when Jason & India Miller presented 19 models at the L'Oreal Color Trophy Grand Final in Mumbai, India on 7th October 2011.
1001 Nights into the Future - the longest running hair show produced and designed by L'Oreal – was first seen in Montreal, Canada in January 2010 for the launch of L'Oreal's new colour product INOA before being taken on to Sydney, Australia in July 2010 and Johannesburg, South Africa in June this year.
"L'Oreal wanted us to create a story with a tribal feel where the hair emphasised the influences of past and present through futuristic designs", comments Jason & India. "Colour in the hair was paramount so we designed it to have a very fabric like feel and look, ranging from woven hair to hair that looked like bubble wrap".
