The pony tail never seems to leave the runway and this winter is no exception offering two very different looks:
1. The high ponytail (pictured) is achieved by pulling hair up high and tight preferably leaving a long straight pony tail. Apply a polish finish with oils like Shu Uemura Essence Absolue or Kérastase Elixir Ultime to give your hair high sheen.
2. The alternative is where the ponytail is placed very low in the nape of the neck. Prepare the hair with a hair dryer and rough blast by using your hands. For body and texture try Shu Uemura Tasai Cream. Gently back comb the crown to give it a little lift and put in a deep side parting with the fringe roughly swept across your forehead - think Bridget Bardot. Secure hair low, but volume is the key so try not to pull it too tight.
