Ready to master the art of curling your hair with

Ready to master the art of curling your hair with a tong? Watch and follow! It may take a bit of practice, but the spring-lever on a tong can make it easier to achieve those perfect curls or waves. o Your hair should be completely dry before using a tong.
o Apply a heat protectant spray evenly to protect your hair from heat damage.
o Divide your hair into sections for easier curling. If it helps, clip the top sections up, leaving the bottom layer down.
o Work with smaller sections of hair to create more defined curls.
o If your tong has a clamp as shown in our video, close it gently to hold the hair, or just hold the ends with your fingers.
o Release the clamp or unwind the hair gently, being careful not to tug.
o Continue curling each section, working your way from the bottom layer to the top.
o Alternate the direction of the curls for a more natural look (curl some sections toward your face and others away).
o Allow the curls to cool completely before touching them. This helps set the curls and make them last longer.
o Once all your hair is curled and cool, gently run your fingers through the curls for a more relaxed look. You can also use a wide-tooth comb or brush for softer waves.
